Founded in 1990 as META Services, an Arizona non-profit corporation, Recovery Innovations provided a range of traditional mental health and substance abuse services throughout the 1990’s growing to become the crisis system for the Phoenix metropolitan area. In 1999 Recovery Innovations began pioneering an innovative initiative: the creation of the new discipline of Peer Support Specialist. Now, a decade later, our workforce has been transformed to one in which Peer Support Specialists and Professionals work together on integrated teams to deliver recovery-based services in all our programs. 62% of our 750 person workforce are Peer Specialists working in dedicated peer support roles. The Recovery Innovations experience has had a global impact on the mental health field serving as a demonstration that recovery from mental illness and/or addiction is the expectation for everyone. Recovery Innovations, a worldwide leader in creating and delivering innovative recovery-based mental health and substance abuse programs. We have recently been awarded a contract by the State of Delaware for statewide Targeted Care Management. We will have one team in Wilmington to serve New Castle County and a second team in Ellendale services Kent and Sussex. We are actively seeking talented staff to provide intensive recovery-based support in the community for people at risk of hospitalization or those being discharged from the hospital. Services will be provided by an integrated team of Mental Health Professionals and Peer Support Specialists who will work with individuals until they are connected to on-going services.

Recovery Innovations has led the field by creating recovery opportunities in six states, New Zealand and England with an integrated workforce of behavioral health peers and professionals. We are actively recruiting for the following full-time positions:

Recovery Services Administrator (Program Manager) requires Masters Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or related field and five (5) years of behavioral health experience and two (2) years of leadership experience. License preferred
Team Lead/Mental Health Professional, requires Masters Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or related field License preferred.
Mental Health Professional, requires a Master Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social work or related field
Peer Support Specialist, requires a High School diploma and lived experience as a consumer of mental health services.
