Summary of Responsibilities:The successful candidate for this role will have excellent development and analytical skills. Responsible for working both individually and in team environments to develop and deliver business functionality based on Oracle e-Business Suite, Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition and other system software components. Will work closely with business analysts to translate requirements to technical design, through development, unit testing and assisting with deployment of developed components. Additional responsibilities include:

• Oracle Forms, Reports, Concurrent Programs, EBS Workflow;
• Interface development, OA Framework web pages;
• Build repositories, BI dashboards and report development;
• Support and develop PL/SQL packages and procedures for Oracle EBS R12;
• Support and maintain OBI reporting environment;
• Design/Implement/Upgrade EBS R12, OBI and NoetixViews reporting solutions.

 

Development will consist of building, testing and implementing PL/SQL packages, procedures, triggers, views, EBS workflow, and OBI dashboards, reports, etc. with shared development role for Oracle e-Business Suite, backup role for development of web services integration and lead role for development of reporting solutions.

• Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and/or multiple high priority user support issues simultaneously.
• Investigate and resolve problems with supported applications in production support environment.
• Responsible for working with and supporting internal team requirements for SR resolution with Oracle Technical Support.
• Effectively communicate project status information, design discussions and issues with project team comprised of resources from IT, Consultants and End Users.
• Develop Oracle PL/SQL programs, Oracle Reports, OBI Answers, Dashboards and build repositories to meet reporting requirements.
• Provides software configuration management tasks for application.
• Keep apprised of developments in the industry through educational and other information resources to determine opportunities for applying technology to business activities.
• Participate in off-hour on-call rotation and/or after hours upgrade support activities. Provide assistance as necessary to IT Infrastructure personnel to resolve problems with production activities.
• Review change management procedures and follow methodology for moving programs and code into production.
• May be called upon to serve before, during, and after a Transmission Emergency Response Plan (TERP) event; such event may require performing functions that are outside the scope of your regular job.
